A Day in the Life: Finding Joy in the Simple things.

Swimming in the Sea.

Welcome to our Seashell blog posts where we dive into the stories of the Seashell people.

We hope to use this space and platform to inspire others and to start important conversations.

Today we are going to be talking about finding joy in the simple things you do daily as talked and shown on our recent youtube video.

Today, we delve into the rhythm of my daily life, a routine that may seem simple but is the backbone of my overall well-being. As I document my day in a YouTube video, I invite you to join me in appreciating the small, seemingly mundane moments that make life special.

Morning Rituals:

My day begins with a comforting cup of tea, accompanied by a nourishing bowl of porridge full of berries and a touch of protein powder. While some might view this as a mundane start, I firmly believe in the power of daily routines. It's not about rigidly adhering to a strict schedule but finding a balance that provides stability and sustainability.

Fitness and Community:

The morning takes a lively turn as I head into town for an F45 class, a group circuits session that brings a sense of community and shared effort. Today's focus is a full-body resistance workout, a challenging yet enjoyable experience. Exercising with others fosters a supportive environment where hard work is rewarded with camaraderie.

Rejuvenation in the Ice Pod:

Post-F45, I retreat to my ice pod—an invigorating practice that has become less frequent due to warmer water temperatures. Today, however, the thermometer reads a crisp 5 degrees, making the experience truly refreshing. Drying off with my towelling robe and embracing the warmth of a changing robe, this ritual is a physical and mental reset and I am excited for more of it over this winter period.

Simple Pleasures for Lunch:

As I continue to dry off, I dive into a lunch of leftovers, a testament to the authenticity I believe in sharing on social media. There's a beauty in showcasing the everyday, and leftovers often become more delicious with time. Hydration comes from my trusty seashell flask which is fantastic at keeping water cool and crisp.

Embracing the Festive Spirit:

With the afternoon comes a special moment—acquiring my first real Christmas tree with my partner. In the midst of the holiday season, it's essential to celebrate these small wins, finding joy in the simple act of decorating and truly enjoying the glow of festive lights. These moments, seemingly insignificant, contribute to a positive mindset, especially during challenging times.

Balancing Work and Self-Care:

Later, we ventured into central London for a nutritious salad from the Salad Project. Armed with my versatile seashell bag, I'm prepared for any situation, whether it's work or unexpected adventures. This flexibility and preparedness, both physically and mentally, contribute to a well-rounded and fulfilling day. After spending the rest of the day working we then head back home and off to bed and get ready for a new day.

Closing Thoughts:

The essence of today's narrative is a celebration of the seemingly ordinary. Not every day is a grand adventure, and that's perfectly okay. These routine-filled days serve as the foundation for the extraordinary moments, allowing us to slowly and steadily develop physically and mentally. At Seahell, we prioritize mental and physical health, creating open and safe spaces for connection and authenticity. In conclusion.

In a world that often glorifies grand adventures, let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of routine. Life's magic often lies in the simplicity of our daily experiences, and by embracing these moments, we pave the way for the extraordinary to unfold.
